Hooked Rugs
I have hooked rugs on and off for a few years. I am trying to pick up the pace and create more of what I love. All rugs are designed and hooked by me, Lesley Ann Staples so please respect copyright. I use recycled materials such as velour, and t-shirts, jeans, fur, really just anything that I think will work. I love the hunt. You’ll find me searching the used clothing stores here in Newfoundland for treasures. I also use yarn and roving and while it is not recycled I do love the texture and color it brings to a rug.

Hi Lesley…Love your rugs….very creative and colourful….My friend is coming to St. Johns for three weeks from Mar. 18 til the 3rd of Feb. and was wondering if there are any rug hookers she could join. We have only been hooking for a short time but love it…thanks, Joann
