Hi

We have finally completed our home renovations. Wow is all I can say about the work that was done in the last few weeks. Our house went from a mess to looking awesome. We now have a beautiful “move in ready” house.

It’s been a long haul with laughing, crying and tempers flying but we finally did it.

The major work was to take place downstairs but once the tenants got out and we had a good look around we decided that we needed to do work everywhere with the most work being painting walls, ceilings and trim. We painted every room, door, baseboard and trim.  We plastered walls, installed lights, heaters, and sinks. We replaced switches, outlets and thermostats from beige to white. That was money worth spending because it really updated the house and made it look so fresh. I would highly recommend doing this.

So let’s see some before and after pictures. Let’s start-up stairs and work our way down. On the third floors are three bedrooms (master and two spare rooms) and 2 baths (main and half) and hallway/foyer.

The master bedroom was painted Providence Olive by Benjamin Moore with all the trim, baseboards, heaters, doors and closets done in Cloud White also by Benjamin Moore.

Both spare rooms were painted Stone House by Benjamin Moore with all the trim, baseboards, heaters, doors and closets done in cloud white also by Benjamin Moore.

The main bathroom was completely redone a few years ago. We stripped it to the studs and did a complete remodel. So this time around it got some touch up on the paint with all the trim and baseboards painted cloud white. Then we just cleaned.

We painted the hallway the same as the spare rooms “Stone House” by Benjamin Moore. The colour is a great neutral and depending on the light looks different in each room. So even though we used this one colour a lot through out the house it really looks like we used more colours that complement each other. We also did some plaster work and filled in nail holes etc.

We also painted the half bath in the master bedroom a creamy white. We painted ceilings and storage closets.

Next up the main floor. Stayed tuned.

Cheers
