Guest room decisions
We are moving right along with the guest room. Priming of walls are completed and now painted, shopping done and new light fixture installed.
One of the things I wanted to do with this room is make it as comfortable as possible for when guests stay, keep with the feel of the house and, of course, not spend a lot of money.
So what were the decisions?
For paint I choose two colours Fernwood Green by Benjamin Moore and Sail Cloth by Pittsburg Paints. I am not sure people even do this anymore but the room is big so I felt I could get away with it. One colour for one wall and one for the other three. I used Simply White by Benjamin Moore for the trim and doors in a semigloss. This is a colour I will be using throughout the house whenever I get to that.
(colours are not as shown)
The bedspread my Mom bought for me a while back.
The light I got on sale at Costco. I should have picked up another but funds were tight as usual. But with the amount of cursing Todd did putting it in I am sure he was glad I just got one.
The shear curtain I found at Value Village and matches the bedspread perfect.
I found this mirror at Winners.
These other things are from other parts of the house that should work.
Next time we will see it all cleaned up and put together because trust me its a mess.
